Switchbacks of Avola Antica

This bike excursion starting from Siracusa is another favourite of the locals. We start on a flat stretch to warm up before we begin the climb of the switchbacks up to Avola Antica with stunning views over the coastline. A well deserved coffe break with a view over the canyon at the vista point of Cavagrande del Cassibile. Then we continue on rolling hills on the Iblei plateu on quiet country roads before we return on as fast downhill towards Siracusa.
