Except the gorgeuos baroque palazzi and churches, the most famous annual event is “L’Infiorata”, an exhibition en plain air where the street Via Nicolaci transforms into a long colorful carpet of mosaics made of fresh flowers. The theme changes every year and this 46th edition is dedicated to “peace in art”. New from 2025 is a “Fuori Infiorata” with an extension of the event in several suggestive places around Noto.
“L’infiorata” has an important flow of visitors and it’s almost impossible to enter and exit the city center by car or bus.
