Palazzolo Acreide
and Cycle Path “Valle dell’Anapo”

Transfer to the cycle path of the Anapo Valley – 10 km of pure bliss surrounded by unexpected lush vegetation. The cycle path follows the river Anapo on a former railway line. A short climb into Palazzolo Acreide, a pretty baroque town of ancient origins. We stop for a typical Sicilian snack – the Arancina! Return by bike the same way and shuttle back to Siracusa.
Optional Extension to Ferla, a charming hamlet on a hilltop, member of the “Borghi più belli d’Italia”
