Ride into the hills: Sortino

This bike tour is one of the favourite rides of the locals – switchbacks and a long downhill! Soon after leaving busy Siracusa behind us we ride on quiet back roads, on gently rolling hills following the Anapo valley until we arrive at the switchbacks of the “Fusco” climb. Stop in Sortino, a pretty little baroque town for a break. We continue cycling along the ridge of the “Climiti” mountains with stunning views over the valley and the coast before we head back downhill to Siracusa.
